We're both getting older, and everything I suggest is something I'm also using. We are on a shared journey.
I’m Chris and I have been teaching at the college level for the better part of the last 40 years (I started during the Reagan Administration).
Yes, I wore a skinny tie.
No, I am not bragging.
A few things about me:
First in my family to go to college, on both sides. I have been very fortunate to have access to opportunities that my parents never had.
I have many interests and my work has focused in the fields of science, health, business and entertainment.
I’m a scientist and professor and recipient of the William D. Carey Award from the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), and this lead to my “15 minutes” when I was featured in a national television commercial.
Former member of the national and international leadership teams of Mensa.
In terms of maximizing human health and performance, I was a Graduate Assistant with a national championship football program, motivating elite student athletes to make good choices in order to survive and thrive on an ultra-competitive playing field.
On the technology side, I was the Lead Analyst with the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) publication Computers in Entertainment.
On the business side, I partnered with the Hollywood Radio & Television Society (HRTS) and consulted with over 200 top studio and network executives, agents, publicists, managers and producers to produce in-depth personal profiles.
I’m a Screen Actors Guild (SAG) member and so if you are an actor or other creative then…we speak the same language….we can connect on different levels….something along these lines…
In addition to my degrees in biology I also have an MBA with a concentration in strategic planning.
And in terms of the anti-aging field and the various interventions available, it’s critical to first establish an effective overall strategy before concentrating on individual tactical plans.
Am a bit of a history buff and have written the story of a mother and a son, revealing a long-hidden truth about the world's first billionaire, John Davison Rockefeller.
Oh, and I love Star Trek. If I’m not working, there’s a good chance I’m watching Star Trek, from
The Original Series all the way up through and including Strange New Worlds.
And yes, it works out fairly spectacularly well that the Trek credo is “Live Long and Prosper.”
What I love about biology is….the incredible living machine that is the human body….how aging works in humans and in other species (including some that are nearly immortal)….
I have been teaching at the college level for the better part of the last 40 years (I started during the Reagan Administration) and I excel at taking complex scientific principles and practices and putting them in clear, relatable terms with examples…
Like you, I am aging, we are on this journey together. Everything that I recommend to my clients I am also using(taking?) myself
It isn’t just that I’ve got the knowledge of science, I have also got the EXPERIENCE.
I got into this field due to my own interest, to maximize my own healthspan I researched interventions and put together a regimen that works for me.
